M. Irene Daniel is a native Arizonan who migrated to California to attend law school at UCLA after earning a B.S. in History from Arizona State University. After graduating from law school in 1990, she worked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office prior to establishing her own private practice in 1992. Since that time, she has worked on a number of criminal, civil and civil rights cases, as well as working with non-profit organizations establishing Domestic Violence Programs by which victims of domestic violence could receive free legal assistance in obtaining restraining orders and other family law orders from the Superior Court.

She currently maintains her own private practice in which she offers legal services in Estate Planning, Family Law and Criminal Law. She resides in Eagle Rock, California with her husband and two cats. Aside from her membership in various bar associations, she has served on numerous boards, including the Board of Governor's of the Los Angeles Athletic Club, the Core Institute for Motivation and Advancement, as well as serving as Chair of the Odyssey Charter School Board. She is also a member of WriteGirl, a women's mentoring organization, and the Rotary Club of Pasadena.

In her leisure time, Irene enjoys tennis, golf, hiking, good music, playing her piano, reading and is in the process of writing her first novel.
